This disclaimer forms part of our Terms of Service. It exists because the honest version of what we do is easy to state, and we would rather state it clearly than bury it.

SnP Club is an educational and discussion community. Everything published by Chain Connect LLC, by Trader_D, or by any member is general information, personal opinion and personal experience.

It is not personalised financial, investment, tax or legal advice. It does not take into account your objectives, your financial situation, your risk tolerance or your needs. Nobody in the community knows your circumstances, and nothing here has been assessed for suitability for you.

Before acting on anything you read here, consider getting advice from a licensed professional in your country.

02We are not regulated

We are not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, financial planner, fund manager or financial institution, and we are not registered or licensed as any of those in any jurisdiction. We do not hold or manage client money. We will never ask for access to your brokerage account.

03No signals, no recommendations

We do not provide trading signals, buy or sell calls, price targets or entry and exit instructions. If a member posts a trade they took, that is a description of their own decision, not a recommendation for you to copy.

Posting signals is against our community rules. If you see it happening, report it.

04No promise of profit

We do not promise, guarantee or imply that you will become profitable, that your results will improve, or that you will achieve any particular outcome. The name of this community is Still Not Profitable, which is as direct as we know how to be about it.

Most people who trade actively lose money. Many lose more than they expected to. Improving your process does not guarantee improving your results.

05Day trading carries particular risk

SnP Club is a day trading community, and intraday trading carries risks beyond those of longer term investing:

• Frequency multiplies cost. Commissions, spreads, fees and slippage accumulate quickly and can consume an otherwise workable edge.
• Leverage and margin amplify losses as well as gains. With leveraged products you can lose more than your initial deposit and may face margin calls.
• Speed removes the chance to reconsider. Decisions are made in seconds, under pressure, which is precisely the failure mode this community exists to discuss.
• Gaps, halts, volatility and outages mean a stop loss is not a guarantee. Orders can fill far from the price you intended, or not at all.
• Regulatory rules may apply to you, such as pattern day trader rules in the United States, which impose minimum account balances and restrict activity.

06Past performance means nothing

Any result, trade, screenshot or statistic shared by us or by a member is historical and individual. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Hypothetical or back-tested results carry additional limitations, since they are produced with hindsight and do not reflect real execution, real costs or real emotion.

Individual results vary enormously, and the experiences shared in the community are not typical or expected outcomes.

07About the position sizer

The position sizer is a calculator that performs arithmetic on the numbers you enter. It does not know your broker, your fees, your instrument, your available margin, your slippage or your tax position, and it does not assess whether a trade is a good idea.

Always verify its output before placing an order. It is provided as is, with no warranty of accuracy or fitness for any purpose.

The community discusses books, courses, tools, platforms and other people's ideas. Mentioning something is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for third party content, products or services, or for anything posted by members.

09Your decisions are yours

You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and their consequences. We accept no liability for any loss you incur, to the fullest extent permitted by law. See section 15 of the Terms of Service.

Only risk money you can genuinely afford to lose. Not rent. Not borrowed money. Not money that has a job to do somewhere else.

10If trading has stopped being a choice

Trading can become compulsive. If you are chasing losses, hiding trades from people close to you, trading money you need, or finding that you cannot stop, that is not a discipline problem to solve with a better strategy. It is worth talking to someone.
