Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data SnP Club collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than the usual fog.

01Who is responsible

The data controller for SnP Club is Chain Connect LLC, of Sharjah Media City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For any privacy question or request, contact support@stillnotprofitable.com.

02What we collect

If you just visit the website

The website does not ask you for anything, and nothing is tracked unless you choose to allow it. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs, which typically include your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and the time you requested them. These are used to serve the site and to keep it secure.

Two third parties receive your IP address simply because your browser has to connect to them to load part of the page:

• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces the site uses.
• X (Twitter), which serves the embedded timeline near the bottom of the page. X may set its own cookies and can use this to recognise its own logged-in users.

If, and only if, you click Allow on the cookie banner, we also load the Whop Pixel. It records that a page was viewed and, if you go on to join, that a purchase happened, so we can tell how many readers become members. It reports to Whop, not to an advertising network, and it does not tell us who you are by name. If you click No thanks, or ignore the banner, it never loads.

If you become a member

• Account and billing data, collected by Whop at checkout: your name, email address, country, and payment details. We never see or store your full card number. We can see who has an active membership, when it started, and the amount paid.
• Discord data: your Discord username and user ID, so we can give you access and assign your role, including the SnP 500 founding role and number.
• Your founding number and join date, if you are one of the first 500 members.
• What you post in the community: messages, trade reviews, journals, screenshots and anything else you choose to share. Some of this may reveal details about your finances or trading, so please only share what you are comfortable sharing.
• Correspondence: emails or messages you send us, and our replies.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for and do not want your brokerage login details, account numbers, government identification documents or full card numbers. If anyone claiming to represent SnP Club asks you for those, it is not us. Do not give them over.

03Why we use it, and our legal basis

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on these legal bases:

• To provide the membership you paid for, including granting Discord access and applying your role and number. Basis: performance of a contract.
• To take payment and manage renewals, failures and cancellations. Basis: performance of a contract.
• To run and moderate the community, keep it safe, and enforce our rules. Basis: legitimate interests.
• To answer your questions and provide support. Basis: performance of a contract, or legitimate interests.
• To keep the site working and secure, including server logs and abuse prevention. Basis: legitimate interests.
• To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations. Basis: legal obligation.
• To measure how many readers become members, using the Whop Pixel. Basis: your consent, given by clicking Allow on the cookie banner, which you can withdraw at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
• To send you optional updates, if you ever ask for them. Basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

04Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers, and they only get what they need to do their job:

• Whop — payments, subscriptions and membership management. Whop is the merchant of record for your payment and handles your card details under its own privacy policy.
• Discord — the community platform. Everything you post in the server is processed by Discord under its own privacy policy and terms.
• Stripe or another payment processor engaged by Whop — to process the actual card transaction.
• Our hosting provider, Cloudflare — to serve the website.
• Google Fonts and X — as described in section 2.
• Professional advisers and authorities — accountants, lawyers, or regulators, where we are legally required to share something.

Other members can also see what you post in the community. That is the point of a community, but it is worth saying out loud: what you post in Discord is visible to other members. Treat it accordingly.

05Cookies and similar technology

Nothing non-essential is set until you agree to it. We do not use Google Analytics or any comparable product, and we run no advertising cookies.

Conversion tracking, only with your consent

We use the Whop Pixel to understand how many people who read this page go on to join, so we can tell whether what we write here is working. It sets cookies and reports a page view, and a purchase if you make one, to Whop.

It loads only after you click Allow on the cookie banner. Choosing "No thanks" means it never runs. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, so to change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will appear again.

Cookies set by others

Cookies may also be set by third parties whose content appears on, serves, or is linked from the site:

• Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site, may set strictly necessary cookies such as __cf_bm for bot detection and security. These are required for the site to work safely and are not used to profile you.
• X, through the embedded timeline near the bottom of the page.
• Whop, when you go through checkout, to run your session and process payment.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them may stop the embedded timeline from loading, which will not affect anything else on the site.

06How long we keep it

• Membership and billing records: for as long as you are a member, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically six to seven years.
• Discord content: messages stay in the server unless you delete them or ask us to. Removing your membership does not automatically delete what you already posted.
• Founding member numbers: we keep a record of issued numbers permanently, because retired numbers are never reissued. This can be reduced to a number and a date if you ask.
• Correspondence: normally up to two years.
• Server logs: as set by our hosting provider, typically a short period measured in weeks.

07International transfers

We are based in the United Arab Emirates, so if you are in the UK, the EEA or elsewhere, your data is transferred to the UAE when we administer your membership.

Our providers add further transfers. Whop, Discord, Google, Cloudflare and X are based in or operate from the United States, and Cloudflare's network routes traffic through data centres worldwide.

Where UK or EU data protection law applies to a transfer, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, depending on the provider. If you want to know which safeguard applies to a specific transfer, ask us.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Delete your data, where we have no overriding reason to keep it.
• Restrict or object to certain processing, including anything based on legitimate interests.
• Portability, to receive your data in a machine readable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent.
• Complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If you are a California resident, you also have rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, delete and correct, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.

As a company established in the United Arab Emirates, we are also subject to UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. It gives you broadly equivalent rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction and objection, and the right to complain to the UAE Data Office.

To make a request, email support@stillnotprofitable.com. We will respond within one month. Note that some data, such as your Discord messages or your Whop billing record, may need to be requested from those providers directly, and we will tell you when that is the case.

09Security

We keep the amount of data we hold deliberately small, use reputable providers, and limit who can access member information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

10Children

The Service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact support@stillnotprofitable.com and we will delete it.

11Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you by email or in the community before they take effect.
